Personal hygiene

Personal hygiene

Personal hygiene – daily skin, hair, nails, oral and dental care for the body, face, hair, mouth and teeth, as well as changing and caring for bed linen and underwear.

Skin care is an integral part of personal hygiene.

  • The skin is constantly exposed to pollutants from the environment, accumulating secretions from sweat and sebaceous glands, which can clog the skin’s glandular orifices and cause the skin to smell unpleasant.
  • Not only can dirt build up on the skin of your hands, but also infectious diseases.

Timely and correct washing of the skin, and especially of the hands, is therefore very important.

Proper hand washing:

Clothes:

  • Clothes must be:
    • soft,
    • conductive to moisture,
    • orui.
  • Footwear must be:
    • Easy,
    • comfort,
    • discourage sweating of the feet.

Beauty and health:

  • Before you start to beautify your face or body, your skin must be clean.

Sweating:

  • Sweat is secreted by sweat glands.
  • The main function of the sweat glands is thermoregulation, but they are also involved in the protective function of the skin.
  • Sweat is produced continuously.
  • Sweat is odourless when it is freshly produced, but when it mixes with epidermal debris and sebaceous gland secretions, it creates a very good breeding ground for bacteria, and as they multiply, they develop a specific odour, sometimes very strong and pungent.
  • Sweating is a normal reaction of the body that can cause discomfort if hygiene is not maintained.
    • Antiperspirants are substances that stop sweat,
    • Deodorants are masking agents that prevent pungent and unpleasant odours.
    • Deodorants and deodorant-antiperspirants are available as aerosols, gels, ointments, lotions, creams, and with mechanical nozzles.
  • The main condition for using these products is that they must be applied to clean, soap-soaked, dry skin and rinsed off at night before going to bed.

Breathing rules:

  • All respiratory products should only be used with a clean body.
  • Do not try to use the aroma of scented products to mask another smell, and in particular do not try to save yourself from body odours that betray sweat or personal hygiene violations.
  • The aroma should not be annoying to others, so it is important to breathe sparingly.
