Ensuring security at tourism events

Participation in tourism events is allowed:

For pre-school children, no more than 4 hours at tourist events.
Day hikes, excursions and educational trips for ages 6 and up.
Two-day hiking trips from the age of 9.
Ski touring, water tourism from 12 years old.
For cycling, from the age of 12 years, or at least 10 years if they have completed an additional training course and have a school certificate.
For rallies and competitions, in accordance with the rules of these events.

Children under 12 years of age can only take part in tourism events with the written consent of their parents or legal guardians

The education provider appoints a tourism event leader for the group of children participating in tourism events.

For groups of more than 15 children, 2 tour leaders are assigned.

At least 2 tour guides per group of pre-school and pre-primary school children, regardless of the number of children.

Educational provider, ensuring the safety of participants in tourism events:

approve the programme of the tourism event, the list of participants and the nomination of the tourism event manager(s);

Tourism Event Manager, ensuring the safety of children at tourism events:

When preparing the programme for a hike, excursion or outing, plan the detailed itinerary (taking into account the age of the participants, their level of fitness and their physical condition, and determining the place and time of departure, arrival and overnight accommodation).
Inform the parents of the children about the tourism event in accordance with the procedures established by the education provider.
Introduces first aid and the first aid kit, road safety rules, environmental protection, fire safety and bathing requirements.
Safety briefings with children shall be recorded in a dedicated logbook.
In accordance with the approved programme of the tourist event, ensure the safety of children during the event and provide first aid.
Children aged 14 and over participating in a tourist event must sign a logbook to inform them of the procedures for organising a tourist event and the safety requirements.
